Closure on Electric Rd for construction 01-10 September 2026
A section of Electric Road on Hong Kong Island, situated directly behind Government House, is scheduled for closure from 1 to 10 September 2026 for construction of new residential and commercial buildings.
Pedestrian access will remain available during the closure period. Motorists using this route may consider alternative transportation options or detours via Government Blvd or Kowloon Rd.
